Do you struggle with your makeup sliding off due to an oily face?
I too struggle with oil myself so I know all about this particular skin concern.
The best way to make your makeup to stick and not slide off is to start with proper skin care for oily skin.
Sometimes it takes trying a few different products to see what works best for you.
One thing you want to use is an oil absorbing moisturizer. Even oil needs moisture!
Use a mattefying, oil absorbing moisturizer and let your skin absorb it for at least 10 minutes before moving on to foundation.
So what foundation is best?
This is where ingredients are crucial! If you know your skin is oily, then you need to stay away from silicones. Yes, this means skip that “primer” as most primers are silicone based and will make your foundation slide right off.
Powder foundations work best since powder absorbs oil. But if you prefer a liquid foundation better, then you want to make sure your foundation is water based.
Lastly, use a puff to lightly powder the face and finish with a finishing spray.
